Process Expert - Aseptic Filling (80-100%)

About the role

Lonza is hiring a Process Expert for its Drug Product Services (DPS) unit in Stein, Switzerland, covering two sterile fill and finish lines. This is a fully site-based role, working in person with operators to keep manufacturing flawless and products world-class. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to manufacturing by working with the operator, focusing on the manufacturing process and executing each batch safely, on time and in compliance with batch instructions and quality requirements.
• Support process validations, re-validations and short-term improvement projects.
• Lead product and process-related investigations and deviations and determine solutions.
• Establish, promote, drive and maintain good cleanroom management practices.
• Maintain processes at inspection readiness level and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and new processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with aseptic manufacturing processes in a GMP environment (must).
• Experience with fill and finish processes of drug product, especially vials (highly desirable).
• University degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
• Fluency in English and German (must).
• Ability to move agilely between tasks in a dynamic environment, with strong collaboration skills.
