Process Expert – Compounding & Support

About the role

Join a collaborative, proactive and diverse team at Lonza in Stein, Switzerland, driving process excellence across compounding operations. You will support operators with technical expertise, lead deviations and investigations, and execute validation and qualification activities while ensuring continuous inspection readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve aseptic compounding processes in a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Provide hands‑on technical support to operators, troubleshoot process issues and manage deviations, investigations and corrective actions.
• Execute and support validation and qualification activities, including preparation, review and maintenance of GMP documentation.
• Maintain equipment and processes in an inspection‑ready state and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline (e.g., Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry).
• Hands‑on experience in aseptic/sterile manufacturing environments and GMP‑regulated production.
• Fluent English and conversational German (B1 level or above).
• Proactive, reliable team player comfortable with fast‑paced, changing priorities.
