Procurement Manager – HR Services (Senior Buyer)

About the role

This senior procurement position supports a global organisation in Zurich, acting as a strategic advisor to senior HR, Legal and Finance leaders. The role focuses on transforming the sourcing of HR services, including Managed Service Providers, recruitment, payroll, benefits and HRIS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing for complex HR categories, with emphasis on MSP models, recruitment and HRIS.
• Partner with senior leadership to align HR business objectives with innovative sourcing and commercial strategies.
• Manage the full sourcing lifecycle: market benchmarking, RFx creation, supplier evaluation and final selection.
• Structure, negotiate and draft complex commercial contracts and develop pricing models tailored to service‑based categories.
• Implement governance frameworks to drive vendor performance, innovation and strategic relationship management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management‑consulting environment.
• Proven expertise in sourcing HR services and deep knowledge of MSP models.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract drafting and total‑cost‑of‑ownership modeling.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior executives in a global matrix organisation.
• Fluent in English and German at a professional level.
