Product Engineer (90K–150K CHF + Equity)

About the role

You will build the orchestration layer that lets AI agents run real biology experiments in automated labs. Working on a TypeScript/Node stack, you will bridge AI models and physical hardware to provide real‑time experiment visibility, scheduling, and automated troubleshooting for leading biopharma and research partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the LabOS orchestration layer to coordinate lab instruments, experiment scheduling, and data capture.
• Develop custom AI agents and tooling that automate decision‑making across the entire experiment lifecycle, from protocol design to failure analysis.
• Expose proprietary hardware as API‑controllable devices, enabling software and AI agents to operate sophisticated lab equipment programmatically.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack experience shipping production‑grade software.
• Strong product instinct and ability to work autonomously from high‑level goals.
• Passion for the intersection of software and biology, with experience integrating AI tools into development workflows.
