Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a key production area for a leading Swiss manufacturer in the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Chemical sectors. Reporting to the Head of Production, you will drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Production in achieving site manufacturing objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop Production Supervisors, Shift Managers and production teams.
• Deliver KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure production plans meet GMP, Health & Safety and Quality standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Quality to optimise performance.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing projects, process improvements and operational change initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Shift Manager or Operations Manager in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Chemical manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead production teams in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Excellent people leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within GMP‑regulated manufacturing is highly desirable.
