Production Support Developer

About the role

This role sits in the Production Support Department and covers Onboarding and CRM solutions on all live platforms, keeping them running smoothly and without issues. It works closely with Production Analysts and Testers and supports the Service Managers in delivering services within KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate errors in live high-end platforms and research and fix defects based on descriptions
• Develop the code, scripts and schemas needed to solve complex technical issues
• Investigate problems on databases, web and application servers and deal with performance issues
• Support the testing and release process for production fixes and work with Service Managers to meet KPIs and SLAs
• Automate manual processes within Production support (CSI)
• Work in a team of support developers to resolve production issues

Required profile

• Ability to read and debug code and understand log entries
• 2 or more years of production support experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to win the trust of stakeholders and clients
• Logical thinking, a positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn

Required skills

• C++ and Java programming (Spring preferred)
• Relational databases (Oracle preferred)
• Desired: Borland and Visual Studio (MSVC) C++, process automation analysis and design, ITIL knowledge, and German or Italian fluency
