Project Leader, Quality Control Bioconjugates

About the role

Lonza is seeking a Project Leader for Quality Control of Bioconjugates at its Ibex Solutions site in Visp, Switzerland. The role involves coordinating QC activities, interfacing with manufacturing, QA and external customers, and representing QC in cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Prepare and support production campaigns.
• Process change requests and deviations under GMP.
• Support customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Calculate and monitor QC project costs.
• Independently coordinate, prioritize and schedule tasks.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent experience in Biology, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Experience in a GMP environment, preferably in Quality Control.
• Assertive, clear communication style and strong organizational/project‑management skills.
• Proficiency in English and basic German (B1 level) with motivation to improve.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Familiarity with Documentum, LIMS and Trackwise.
• Knowledge of GMP processes.
