Project Manager – IT Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex IT and business transformation programmes within a highly regulated financial services environment. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery, coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring alignment with strategic technology objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, risk registers and governance structures.
• Coordinate business, technology, operations and external vendor activities.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks and deliverables, providing regular status reports to senior management and steering committees.
• Ensure compliance with organisational, regulatory and quality standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in financial services, banking or fintech.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale technology or transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, risks and third‑party vendors.
• German language skills are a plus.

• Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Cloud, application modernization and infrastructure concepts.
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe and ITIL certifications.
