Quality Control Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Team Lead to oversee and drive the quality assurance processes within our manufacturing environment. The role combines hands‑on technical validation with team leadership to ensure that components meet strict aesthetic and dimensional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and lead a team of quality controllers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Facilitate rapid problem‑solving rituals (QRQC methodology) to address non‑conformities.
• Validate production launches and start‑ups after adjustments.
• Monitor aesthetic and dimensional control of components during manufacturing.
• Manage measurement recording and statistical monitoring using internal SPC/APC tools and ERP quality modules.
• Identify recurring deviations, report them and work closely with the Quality Manager to implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality inspection of micrometric components, preferably in watch cases or movements.
• Demonstrated managerial skills with the ability to unite a team around performance objectives.
• Strong technical background in statistical process control and precision measurement.

Required skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Advanced Process Control (APC) tools.
• Three‑dimensional measuring equipment and high‑precision optical control systems.
• Quality management software and production monitoring applications.
