Quality Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

TOFWERK, a Bruker company, seeks a Quality Manager to develop, implement and maintain quality and regulatory systems for its high‑performance mass spectrometer products. The role is based in Thun, Switzerland and combines quality management with a small portion of workplace‑safety support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality systems meeting ISO 9001, ISO 13485, UL and CSA requirements.
• Act as management representative for quality systems and manage relationships with certification bodies, auditors and authorities.
• Establish performance monitoring, reporting and corrective‑action mechanisms for quality, regulatory and information‑security requirements.
• Drive quality awareness and continuous improvement, especially in supplier management and supplier quality.
• Report regularly to senior management and collaborate with quality and information‑security teams across BIOS and Bruker sites.
• Develop and maintain policies and controls supporting ISO 27001 and related information‑security frameworks.
• Provide 5‑10 % of working time to workplace‑safety support, assisting safety programmes and coordination between BIOS and TOFWERK.

Required profile

• Diplom or Master’s degree in Quality Management (additional qualifications welcome).
• Minimum 5 years experience in a quality engineer or quality‑management role within a regulated environment.
• B.S./B.A. or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German (minimum C1 level).
• Swiss Work Safe Assistant certification or higher.
• Expertise in QMS software, SAP module and MS Office.
