About the role

Are you interested in gaining comprehensive insight into UBS’s market activities? For our IB Global Markets Legal Team in Zurich / Opfikon, we are offering a motivated attorney an exciting opportunity to advise the trading department and support new product development.

Key responsibilities

• Advising the trading department on day‑to‑day legal matters across foreign exchange, interest rate transactions and precious metals businesses.
• Supporting management and the business in developing projects and launching new products, including electronic trading, e‑commerce, DLT and blockchain.
• Handling financial market regulatory matters.
• Negotiating agreements with clients and market participants.
• Instructing and managing external counsel in Switzerland and abroad.

Required profile

• Completed law degree and Swiss bar admission.
• Professional experience in a law firm or legal department of a company, preferably in the financial sector.
• Independent, proactive and client‑oriented working style.
• Strong analytical thinking and a process‑ and project‑oriented approach.
• Business‑fluent German and English.
