Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist (Full‑time)

About the role

STAAR Surgical is expanding with a brand‑new manufacturing site in Switzerland and needs a full‑time Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist to support line managers in hiring for Swiss and occasional international positions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide talent acquisition support for vacancies, mainly in Switzerland, using the applicant tracking system.
• Lead the full recruitment cycle: pre‑screening, interviewing, assessments, offer letters and employment contracts.
• Create and post job openings on internal SharePoint and external sites such as LinkedIn and jobs.ch.
• Partner with agencies and head‑hunters for specific profiles and source candidates from databases.
• Conduct candidate assessments, reference checks and support visa/immigration processes.
• Ensure a positive experience for candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders.
• Assist with onboarding: prepare IT access, enter data in HRIS, organise training logistics and publish new‑hire information on SharePoint.
• Develop recruitment processes, manage vendor relationships and lead employer‑branding initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with Federal HR or a comparable degree.
• Proficient in English; French and/or German preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss HR, HR marketing and basic international HR concepts.
• Minimum 4 years of recruiting experience in an international environment, ideally in the medical‑device industry.
• Strong organizational, coordination and confidentiality skills.
