Regional Compliance & Privacy Officer (Director) – EMEA

About the role

As the Regional Compliance & Privacy Officer for EMEA, you will lead the compliance and data‑privacy program across the region. Reporting to the EMEA General Counsel with a dotted‑line to the Global Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer, you will translate global policies into actionable, region‑specific initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the EMEA compliance and ethics program, ensuring implementation of global codes of conduct, anti‑bribery, healthcare compliance, privacy, AI governance and related policies.
• Partner with senior business leaders to embed a culture of integrity and trust throughout the region.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel and consultants for investigations or project work.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Finance and IT Security to align compliance activities with broader corporate functions.
• Represent EMEA on the Global Compliance Leadership Team, providing regional insights for global strategy.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in compliance, data privacy, or related regulatory fields, preferably at a senior or director level.
• Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory landscape, including anti‑corruption, competition, trade, healthcare and data‑privacy laws.
