Regional HR Manager (EMEA)

About the role

Accuray is seeking a Regional HR Manager to lead HR operations and compliance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The role will partner with local teams, legal counsel and global HR leadership to ensure consistent, lawful, and people‑focused HR practices.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, works council requirements, GDPR and company policies across all EMEA locations.
• Lead internal and external HR audits, manage documentation reviews, corrective actions and ongoing monitoring.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle – hiring, transfers, promotions, contract changes and terminations – in line with local regulations.
• Act as primary point of contact for employee‑relations matters, conduct investigations and advise managers on performance, disciplinary and policy issues.
• Support reduction‑in‑force, restructuring and organizational change initiatives from a compliance and execution perspective.
• Coordinate onboarding, off‑boarding and talent‑review processes, driving standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Maintain HR system data integrity, generate regular workforce analytics and report key metrics to regional and global leadership.
• Monitor legislative changes across EMEA and implement required policy updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on EMEA operations and compliance.
• Proven experience managing HR audits, investigations and regulatory compliance across multiple European, Middle Eastern or African countries.
• Solid knowledge of employment law, works council processes and GDPR requirements; experience with U.S.‑based multinational organisations is a plus.
• Fluency in English, French and German; additional European language skills are advantageous.
• Excellent project‑management, analytical and stakeholder‑communication abilities.
