Regional Medical Excellence Associate Director/Director

About the role

The Regional Medical Excellence Associate Director/Director will lead medical strategy and execution for the Europe region, supporting country teams and driving excellence across medical activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update European medical strategies, tactics and KOL engagement plans.
• Standardise and drive excellence in planning and execution of medical activities, including evidence generation, field medical training and launch planning.
• Consolidate dashboards, monitor KPIs, produce launch reports and provide actionable insights.
• Support country Medical Directors with improvement initiatives, people development and capability uplift.
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives as the voice of regional medical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor, pharmaceutical or biomedical degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in pharma, at least 4 years in Medical Affairs, preferably in rare diseases.
• Leadership experience including people management, training and coaching.
• Strong business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
