Regulatory Lawyer – Legal Counsel (Insurance) in Zurich

About the role

Alpinum Solutions is seeking a Regulatory Lawyer to join its legal team in Zurich. You will provide expert advice on Swiss supervisory matters and support product development within the insurance sector. This interim mandate offers the chance to work closely with FINMA and other regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on Swiss supervisory matters.
• Manage correspondence and interactions with FINMA and, when required, other Swiss authorities.
• Advise on regulatory requirements and supervisory topics affecting the business.
• Support legal aspects of product development and ongoing product governance.
• Draft, review and maintain General Terms and Conditions (AVB).
• Provide practical legal support to internal stakeholders on regulatory and product‑related matters.

Required profile

• Swiss M‑Law degree or Swiss Bar admission (advantageous).
• Demonstrated experience working directly with FINMA, including regulatory filings and applications.
• Strong understanding of Swiss regulation and supervisory requirements.
• Fluent German is mandatory.
