Reservations Agent

About the role

The Gstaad Palace, a historic 5‑star luxury hotel in Switzerland, is seeking a Reservations Agent to manage individual and group bookings from inquiry to confirmation while delivering personalized service to an international clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process individual and group reservations in line with Leading Hotels of the World standards.
• Enter guest data into the Protel on‑premise booking system and monitor current occupancy levels.
• Coordinate rates and conditions with the Reservations Manager.
• Collaborate closely with operational and administrative hotel departments.
• Assist in monitoring availability on online channels (CRS) and ensure smooth department operations.

Required profile

• Completed commercial training or equivalent education.
• Minimum one year of reservations experience in an upscale hotel.
• Professional appearance, strong guest interaction skills, and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Flexibility, resilience, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Fluent in German, French, and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using the Protel booking system.
• Familiarity with Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
