Robotics Lab Technician Intern

About the role

ANYbotics is seeking a hands‑on Robotics Lab Technician Intern for a six‑month period. You will work directly with the engineering team to keep the robotics laboratory and test rigs in optimal condition, gaining practical experience with cutting‑edge mobile robots.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair robotics hardware and subsystems before and after test cycles.
• Build, maintain, and calibrate laboratory tools, test benches, and infrastructure.
• Organise the lab space, manage component inventory, tools, and safety protocols.
• Assist technical staff with wiring, sensor mounting, and hardware setup for experiments.
• Execute standard test protocols under guidance from senior engineers.

Required profile

• Student or trainee enrolled in a technical program (university, applied sciences, or vocational track).
• Strong practical mindset with interest in troubleshooting and repairing hardware.
• Methodical, organized, and safety‑conscious approach to lab work.
• Good written and spoken English for collaboration with an international team.

Required skills

• Basic familiarity with electronics and sensors (multimeter, wiring, test equipment).
• Experience with Linux (Ubuntu) and command‑line interfaces.
• Basic soldering and electrical crimping skills.
