Sales Associate (Full-Time) - Gstaad

About the role

ALO is hiring a full-time Sales Associate for its store in Gstaad, Switzerland. The Sales Associate helps achieve store sales goals by setting the standard of the ALO experience and brand mission, creating an authentic, organic experience of excellence for every guest through genuine connection, product education and sharing of the community and culture. The role is an expert position covering product knowledge, features, benefits, fabric, usage, design and care.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO's initiatives while optimizing productivity and efficiency
• Engage customers and provide a friendly, easy-to-shop environment, building client relationships daily
• Analyze reports with the leadership team to strategize, support action plans and highlight growth opportunities
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives throughout the store
• Educate guests and staff on products, community and culture, and explain the Retail, Yoga and Café business model
• Use company tools, incentives and strategies to meet store goals, and resolve client needs quickly
• Protect the daily schedule set with the Store Leadership, assist with shipments, visual merchandising and daily replenishment, and follow front-of-house and back-of-house procedures
• Support other areas such as Sales and Cashier as needed

Required profile

• Preferred prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
• Passion for customer service and self-motivation to achieve results individually and as a team
• Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds, and to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and twist safely, including climbing ladders
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
• Proof of right to live and work in the country from the start of employment
• Availability must suit the business, including morning, evening and weekend shifts, and work from Black Friday through the end of the holiday season until the first week of January
