Sales Specialist – Medium Voltage (French-speaking Switzerland)

About the role

ABB is looking for a Sales Specialist to drive the commercial development of its Medium Voltage portfolio in French‑speaking Switzerland. You will work in a technical, dynamic environment, supporting customers from need identification through to contract closing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy for Medium Voltage products targeting utilities, EPCs, system integrators and industrial customers.
• Expand business within existing accounts and proactively acquire new customers and applications.
• Manage the full sales cycle – lead identification, qualification, solution positioning, proposal, pricing, forecasting and contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with Tendering, Product Marketing, Project Management and Service teams to deliver competitive solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing to ensure sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution networks; experience in the medium‑voltage sector is a plus.
• Proven B2B sales experience of technical products, systems or solutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
