Senior Accountant – Finance Operations (Switzerland)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the finance operations for Antech’s Swiss business, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, statutory reporting and compliance with both local regulations and US GAAP. Based in Viernheim, Germany, the role reports directly to the Finance Operations Director for Central Europe and works closely with internal teams and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and post all financial transactions, including payments, receipts and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing entries in line with internal controls.
• Produce statutory financial statements and group reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) under Swiss law and US GAAP.
• Manage balance‑sheet accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate data capture.
• Support external and internal audit activities.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects such as system migrations and new process implementations.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in accounting and finance.
• Proven experience preparing financial statements in accordance with local standards and US GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Fluent German (native) and proficient English.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Experience with web‑based ERP systems, preferably Sage.
• Familiarity with OneStream reporting platform.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and bank reconciliation.
