Senior Accountant (FR/Eng)

About the role

Batgroup is looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Pully. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the company’s growth across the full accounting cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate entries for all financial transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, processing supplier invoices, employee expenses, and customer billing.
• Perform regular bank, credit‑card and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, including accruals, pre‑payments and journal entries.
• Support the preparation and filing of Swiss VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and Swiss accounting standards.
• Help prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent Swiss qualification (Brevet Fédéral or CFC).
• 5‑10 years of proven accounting experience in a fast‑paced corporate, startup or scale‑up environment.
• Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken); German is a strong asset.
• High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of Swiss accounting principles (Swiss OR).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with modern ERP systems or accounting software (BI a plus).
