Senior AI Governance Instructor

About the role

Swiss Cyber Institute is looking for an experienced Senior Instructor to lead graduate‑level courses on AI governance, regulatory frameworks, and ethical AI practices. The role combines curriculum design, teaching, and mentorship to prepare students for responsible AI development worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver graduate‑level course materials covering AI governance, regulatory frameworks, and ethical AI practices.
• Guide students in exploring emerging standards such as the NIST Framework, EU AI Act, OECD AI Principles, and ISO/IEC 42001:2023.
• Develop and maintain curriculum rigor aligned with the Institute’s quality standards.
• Supervise student projects and provide mentorship in policy analysis and compliance strategy.

Required profile

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Law, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in AI governance, ethics, or compliance.
• Prior instructional experience is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and pedagogical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Participation in the development of AI governance frameworks, national strategies, or international policy initiatives is a strong asset.
