Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

About the role

onsemi is seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join its Precision Analog Team. You will design and develop analog and mixed‑signal IP for next‑generation automotive, industrial, and medical products.

Key responsibilities

• Define architectures and conduct feasibility studies for new analog/mixed‑signal IP components.
• Drive design, verification, layout, and bench evaluation of CMOS and SOI designs reusable across market segments.
• Lead small sub‑project teams and contribute to SoC integration.
• Collaborate on DFT strategies, document designs, and work with test, product, and applications engineering for production release.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of analog IC design experience, including schematic, layout, and simulation.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland and strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• Analog IC design, schematic capture, layout, and simulation.
• Experience with deep‑submicron processes (65 nm or below), CMOS and SOI technologies.
• Design of DACs, ADCs, PLLs, and wireless interfaces.
• Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog, Verilog‑A or VHDL‑AMS.
