Senior Associate – Treasury Strategy & Technology

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to help global organisations transform their treasury functions through advanced technology and data‑driven solutions. The role sits within PwC’s Advisory practice in Zurich and works with international corporations on strategic, risk‑focused treasury projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex treasury, cash‑management and financial risk challenges, with a focus on technology and digital transformation.
• Lead multi‑stakeholder initiatives that redesign treasury processes, improve liquidity optimisation and embed AI‑enabled tools.
• Develop and implement AI and machine‑learning models for cash‑flow forecasting, fraud detection, risk modelling and intelligent automation.
• Produce thought‑leadership content and actionable recommendations on regulatory compliance and emerging fintech trends.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across strategy, risk, technology and finance to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in treasury consulting, treasury technology, financial risk management or a corporate treasury role with a strong technology focus.
• University degree (Master’s preferred) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Professional certification such as CFA, FRM, CTP or equivalent.
