Senior Manager Financial Services Consulting – Liquidity & Funding

About the role

Join PwC’s Financial Services Strategy & Transformation practice in Zurich as a Senior Manager focusing on Liquidity & Funding. You will work with leading wealth managers, asset managers, private banks and family offices to shape their liquidity strategies and treasury operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping redesign liquidity and funding processes to improve efficiency and meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement solutions for measuring, managing and deploying liquid assets on short‑term and mid‑term horizons, integrating these insights into risk frameworks.
• Leverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to create innovative delivery approaches and add tangible value.
• Lead business development activities: build client relationships, identify opportunities, contribute to proposals and thought‑leadership.
• Help define and evolve the go‑to‑market strategy for liquidity and funding services across key banking clients.

Required profile

• University or ETH master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in banking or consulting, with deep exposure to liquidity, funding and Funds Transfer Pricing.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfort with complex banking products and quantitative analysis.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous learning in banking and emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling.
• Professional PowerPoint presentation creation.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence concepts and tools.
