Senior Auditor – Audit Financial Services (Full-time)

About the role

Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Geneva office, focusing on financial services clients. You will lead audit engagements, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to interdisciplinary projects while developing your professional expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Audit annual and consolidated financial statements of financial services clients and evaluate their business and control processes.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and monitor client satisfaction.
• Plan and execute audit engagements, ensuring adherence to Swiss regulatory requirements.
• Work across a broad range of financial services firms, coaching junior team members and acting as a key contact within audit teams.
• Participate in interdisciplinary projects and support internal strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with a finance/accounting focus.
• 2–3 years of external audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 or comparable environment.
• Experience with Swiss regulatory audits and solid knowledge of Swiss financial statements, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Structured, reliable, analytical work style with motivation for further professional development (Swiss CPA).
• Fluent in French and English.
