Senior Automation Test Engineer - Java, Selenium, Playwright

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a self‑motivated Senior Automation Test Engineer to join its Agile squads in Zurich. You will develop and maintain test automation frameworks, support CI/CD pipelines and ensure high‑quality delivery of financial software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance UI, API and mobile test automation scripts using Java, Selenium, Playwright and Appium.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with testers to improve tools, methodologies and services.
• Review user stories, define test strategies, execute test cases and document results in line with audit and compliance requirements.
• Support deployment activities, perform post‑release validation and provide production support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation QA Tester, preferably in financial services, with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
