Senior Commodity Marketer

About the role

CHS Inc., a global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives, is hiring a Senior Commodity Marketer at its Geneva, Switzerland office. The role shapes the market access strategy and strengthens CHS's presence in key destination markets, focusing on deep customer relationships and expanding its footprint across the grain supply chain. It requires about 25% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, covering negotiation, contract creation, cargo execution and payment
• Support annual marketing plans for defined commodity volumes into North Africa and/or the Middle East
• Meet regularly with targeted customers to strengthen partnerships and repeat business
• Collaborate with global CHS offices to ensure consistent market representation
• Contribute to counterparty risk assessments with the risk team
• Identify downstream opportunities to get closer to end users

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 7+ years of experience in grain commodities marketing or trading, with deep expertise in wheat, corn and soybeans
• Fluency in English and French; fluency in Arabic is a plus
• Experience monitoring imports and competitive analysis for target countries is a plus
• Additional experience in the Middle East, West and East Africa is a plus

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of contract terms for origins such as the Black Sea, Argentina, the US and Brazil
• Interpersonal, communication, marketing and sales skills
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
