Senior Consultant – Procurement Value Creation

About the role

Chain IQ is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Global Procurement Value Creation team in Zurich. You will deliver high‑quality procurement consulting projects, develop business cases, and support clients in strategic assessments, process optimisation and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct spend analysis and supplier assessments to design effective sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand needs and present tailored procurement solutions.
• Support business development by contributing to proposal writing and identifying new opportunities.
• Own specific workstreams, ensuring rigorous analysis, actionable insights and timely delivery.
• Act as a bridge between junior team members and senior leadership, managing deliverables and expectations.
• Potentially undertake secondments in key locations such as New York, London, Singapore, Mumbai or Bucharest, depending on business needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consulting, supply‑chain, finance or procurement.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage complex workstreams and deliver high‑impact recommendations.
• Senior‑level experience, capable of leading projects and mentoring junior staff.
