Senior Director, CAPA & Escalation

About the role

The Senior Director, CAPA & Escalation leads a global quality management strategy that integrates corrective and preventive actions, issue management and continuous improvement across Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse global team responsible for end‑to‑end CAPA, issue management, escalation and investigation processes.
• Develop and implement an integrated continuous‑improvement strategy and governance framework for QMS, CAPA and escalation.
• Own the quality escalation/notification system, trending tools and ensure robust functional planning.
• Lead independent monitoring of CAPA implementation, inspection readiness and global metric reporting.
• Provide strategic leadership, coaching and oversight for 35‑40 personnel across Americas, Europe and ASPAC.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Quality Management Systems, regulatory compliance or operations management.
• Proven leadership of large, matrixed, global teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience driving change, leading complex projects and influencing senior executives.
