Senior Full Stack Developer – Remote

About the role

The United Nations Agency is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to work remotely on mission‑critical software solutions. You will join a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native applications that support the agency’s global initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement full‑stack solutions using modern frameworks and languages.
• Develop, test, and deploy microservices and APIs (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets).
• Integrate applications with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, source control, and DevOps practices.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance (OWASP, data protection standards).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• First‑level university degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant full‑stack development experience.
• Expert proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, microservices architecture, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with MS Office, SharePoint, Visio and Project.
