Senior Full Stack Engineer (New Business)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a next‑generation data annotation platform based in Switzerland. The role sits at the core of AI infrastructure, building tools that process large‑scale multimodal datasets (images, audio, video, documents) and transform raw data into high‑quality inputs for machine‑learning workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack features using Node.js, React (Next.js) and TypeScript.
• Own features from concept through production, including architecture, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Build and optimise systems that handle massive multimodal datasets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements and propose scalable solutions.
• Review code, mentor teammates and promote engineering best practices.
• Experiment with AI‑driven tools to enhance platform productivity.
• Ensure performance, reliability and maintainability of complex user workflows.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack engineer with deep experience in modern JavaScript ecosystems.
• Architectural mindset with ability to balance speed, scalability and long‑term maintainability.
• Proven track record designing scalable system architectures and evaluating technical trade‑offs.
• Experience working in fast‑paced environments with evolving product requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.
