Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees at the Zug site of a well‑established international organisation. You will provide end‑to‑end HR support and help drive people initiatives that align with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, handling day‑to‑day operations and complex employee‑relations cases.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Swiss employment law, internal policies and best practice.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent development, performance management and succession.
• Support recruitment activities and contribute to building a diverse, high‑quality talent pipeline.
• Coordinate learning & development initiatives and mandatory training.
• Assist with local compensation and benefits processes, including annual salary review and bonus administration.
• Contribute to HR projects and change initiatives, including transformation or restructuring workstreams.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience in a senior HR business partner or HR director role, preferably in an international or matrix environment.
• Background in the insurance or finance industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of Swiss labour law and experience handling employee‑relations cases.
• Proven experience across HR operations, talent and performance cycles, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and use HRIS or digital tools.
• Fluent English; German is desirable.
• Project or change‑management qualifications are a plus.
