Senior Investment Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Investment Consultant at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will act as the expert investment voice for the bank's advisory clients, turning market insights into solid portfolio decisions. You will work from the initial proposal through to regular, comprehensive performance reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailor-made multi-asset-class investment advice to UHNWI clients, Family Offices and sophisticated Private Banking customers across different regions
• Construct and monitor investment portfolios, advising on asset allocation and strategic and tactical investments across all asset classes
• Maintain regular client contact by phone, email and face-to-face meetings
• Analyse financial markets to develop and monitor client investment strategies
• Work with the global Investment Consulting team to generate investment ideas and with Private Banking teams to grow the investment consulting business

Required profile

• Master's degree in business, finance or a related field; CFA is a plus
• At least 10 years of client-facing experience in a senior investment advisory function within private banking
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments across all asset classes
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MiFID
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory; additional languages are appreciated

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg
• Experience with Avaloq is preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills, flexibility, reliability and the ability to work under pressure
