Senior iOS Mobile Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior iOS Mobile Developer to join our Specialized App team. You will design and build premium iOS applications that support rider‑focused initiatives and work within a Kotlin Multiplatform architecture shared with Android.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and event‑driven architectures.
• Integrate and collaborate on a Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) shared business‑logic layer while delivering a native iOS experience.
• Design and implement efficient caching strategies in both native and shared layers to improve performance and offline reliability.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, Android engineers, and backend teams to define seamless cross‑platform user experiences.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and champion best practices in code quality, architecture, testing, and performance.
• Analyze complex technical problems, propose scalable solutions, and break down features into manageable tasks.
• Contribute to the long‑term architectural vision for Specialized’s mobile platforms, standardising development approaches and tooling.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and patterns to improve app reliability and rider experience.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on iOS development experience delivering production apps.
• 2+ years of experience integrating shared Kotlin Multiplatform business logic in iOS.
• Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and reactive/event‑driven patterns.
• Strong understanding of event‑driven programming principles and scalable mobile system design.
