Senior IT Consultant – Oracle & PL/SQL

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior IT Consultant to join its Zurich team. You will work on complex data‑centric applications, guiding clients through the full consulting lifecycle – from problem definition to solution delivery and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident, problem and release management for Instrument and Client Reference Data applications, ensuring data quality and availability.
• Analyse cross‑system issues, develop root‑cause analyses and implement sustainable fixes.
• Drive solution design, configuration and deployment while adhering to ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with business, operations and technology stakeholders to align solutions with client needs.
• Support proposal development, client training and internal capability building.
• Prioritise and coordinate activities across multiple projects, using metrics to plan proactively.

Required profile

• Senior‑level consultant with proven experience in production support and ITIL‑based service management.
• Strong analytical mindset able to break down complex problems and formulate actionable hypotheses.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a trusted advisor for clients and internal teams.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and continuously improve processes.
