Senior Legal Advisor – In‑House Counsel (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to act as a trusted legal partner for a fast‑paced international organisation. You will provide commercially practical counsel, support governance, and ensure compliance across a range of business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and manage commercial agreements, aligning risk allocation with business objectives.
• Support governance structures and provide legal assistance to subsidiaries on operational and strategic matters.
• Maintain and update legal frameworks for B2B and B2C e‑commerce, including terms, privacy policies and consumer‑facing policies.
• Handle global product liability claims, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Manage intellectual property matters, including patent and trademark filings, portfolio management and enforcement.
• Advise on data‑protection compliance (DSG, GDPR) and collaborate with subsidiaries to meet regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate corporate secretarial activities and ensure statutory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Maintain relationships with external counsel and oversee dispute and transactional matters.
• Supervise contract management, develop electronic archiving systems and ensure compliance with internal delegation of authority.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate legal and regulatory risks for company operations.

Required profile

• Post‑qualification experience in an in‑house legal department, preferably within a multinational sporting goods or consumer products company.
• Legal qualification recognised in at least one jurisdiction (Swiss federal diploma, Master’s degree or equivalent) and admission to practice.
• Strong commercial judgment, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
• Proven expertise in commercial contracting, corporate law, compliance, IP and data protection.
