Senior Manager - Business Consulting, Finance & Performance Lead

About the role

EY is looking for a finance professional with strong commercial acumen and a hands-on approach to lead the Finance & Performance function for its Swiss Consulting business. As Finance & Performance Lead, you will advise the Consulting Leadership Team on strategy, performance and sustainable profitable growth, with significant influence over the financial management of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for Consulting Switzerland, giving a clear view of performance, risks and opportunities.
• Analyse revenue, margin, utilization and business performance and turn financial data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Support strategic decisions through financial modelling, business cases, investment assessments and forward-looking performance insights.
• Drive financial discipline and performance accountability by identifying risks, challenging assumptions and turning insights into actions.
• Partner with PFA and PBFA teams so that financial and operational risks are identified early, turned into business actions and tracked through to resolution.
• Act as a finance business partner to Consulting leadership, offering fact-based guidance and constructive challenge.

Required profile

• Significant experience in commercial finance, FP&A, finance business partnering or a comparable finance leadership role.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; a professional finance qualification is an advantage.
• Experience leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management in a complex, performance-driven environment, ideally in professional services.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, analytical and modelling skills, and experience developing business cases and scenario analyses.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively and communicate complex financial topics clearly.
• Excellent English; German and/or French is a strong advantage.
