Senior Manager – Director, Digitalization, AI and Controls Automation

About the role

Deloitte Switzerland's Controllership & Treasury team in Technology & Transformation is looking for a Senior Manager / Director to lead its Digitalization, AI and Controls Automation offering. Working 80-100% in Zurich, you will help organisations modernise control frameworks through intelligent automation and AI, strengthen internal controls and accelerate compliance, while growing the practice and building client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives that help clients assess technology risks, spot automation opportunities and design or improve AI-enabled controls and compliance frameworks.
• Spearhead internal controls transformation through digitalization and AI-driven automation, optimising control efficiency.
• Turn emerging technology risk issues and automation potential into business opportunities that raise digital control maturity.
• Develop market offerings, reusable assets, thought leadership and strategic alliances to grow the offering.
• Originate new client engagements, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and deliver measurable value through AI-enabled controls automation.
• Lead and coach multidisciplinary teams through mentoring, career development and capability building.
• Represent the capability at client events, industry forums and executive discussions.

Required profile

• Minimum 8-10 years in IT controls advisory, audit or risk management, with at least 3-4 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to build practices, originate new business, develop client relationships and lead teams.
• Strong business development and consultative selling experience, with experience growing strategic accounts.
• Fluent in English and German.

Required skills

• Expertise in risk assessment, control design, testing, remediation and leading controls automation or digitalization initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of AI and machine learning, with the ability to architect AI-driven control solutions and guide clients through AI governance challenges.
• Relevant senior certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, COBIT or equivalent; AI governance or controls automation certifications are highly valued.
