Senior Manager Financial Services Consulting – Liquidity & Funding

About the role

PwC's Financial Services Strategy & Transformation practice in Zurich is looking for a Senior Manager to advise Wealth Managers, Asset Managers, Private Banks, Family Offices and other financial services institutions on their strategic and transformation priorities, with a focus on Liquidity & Funding and Treasury. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and collaborate with Finance, Banking Restructuring and Risk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients measure, manage and use liquid assets efficiently on a short-term operational and mid-term structural basis, integrating this view into their risk understanding in a rising interest rate environment.
• Use emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to improve delivery and create value for clients.
• Drive business development by building client relationships, leading proposals and contributing to PwC's market presence through thought leadership.
• Develop the go-to-market strategy for liquidity and funding and other strategy and transformation topics with key banking clients.
• Work within a global network sharing industry insights on Liquidity & Funding.

Required profile

• University or ETH Master's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or an adjacent field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in banking or consulting, with extensive experience on liquidity and funding topics, including Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP).
• Experience with complex banking products and with Trading, Treasury, Financial Risk, Finance and Accounting departments.
• Fluent English; German is a significant plus, other languages welcome.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; open to work visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and quantitative software skills; PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Programming skills such as Python are highly recommended.
• CFA or FRM certificates are a significant plus.
