Senior Manager Swiss Payroll Advisory - Tax & Legal

About the role

Deloitte's Global Employer Services (GES) team, part of its Tax & Legal practice, partners with multinational companies on global mobility and payroll. It is recruiting a Senior Manager for its Swiss payroll advisory practice in Zurich and Geneva, working 80-100% of the time. The role combines expert payroll advice with growth of the payroll offering.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the payroll offering and onboard high-value clients
• Provide expert counsel on all payroll-related matters and own engagements with full autonomy
• Build and mentor a high-performing team
• Support the management team in reshaping how payroll services are delivered

Required profile

• At least 5 to 10 years of experience in payroll, with strong knowledge of payroll, social security and individual taxation
• Leadership experience and willingness to train the team and expand market share
• Excellent English, fluency in French or German; other languages are an advantage
• Solution-oriented, independent and self-motivated approach

Required skills

• Strong numerical skills and understanding of complex interrelationships
• Proficiency in payroll tools such as Abacus and SAP
