Senior Manager Training – EMEA

About the role

Jet Aviation is looking for a Senior Manager Training to lead the Academy delivery across EMEA from its Basel hub. You will build a regional training capability, align learning with business and regulatory needs, and connect global standards with local requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the annual training plan and calendar in partnership with business leaders, HR and regional leadership.
• Co‑design learning solutions with subject‑matter experts, applying adult‑learning and instructional‑design principles to ensure consistent delivery quality.
• Maintain qualified trainer capacity, monitor certification currency and keep training records audit‑ready.
• Lead the regional Academy community, managing internal and external trainers and fostering collaboration.
• Consolidate training activity, budgets, attendance and costs, and coordinate the regional vendor panel.
• Utilise the learning platform and training data to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Facilitate regional leadership development modules and high‑impact workshops.
• Act as the Academy’s face in the region, building trust and influencing adoption across functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading through matrix structures, dotted‑line relationships and external vendors.
• Strong expertise in adult learning, instructional design, facilitation and training evaluation.
• Experience developing and managing multi‑site or regional training plans and calendars.
• Fluency with learning technology, training data, budgets and vendor management.
• Experience maintaining training records and evidence for compliance and audit readiness.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organisational and stakeholder‑partnership skills.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and align across cultures and locations.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally globally.
