Senior Platform Engineer - DevOps

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer for its Software Delivery Accelerator (SDA) Center, responsible for the DevOps system across the group. The role provides tools, methods and processes to support the organisation, its projects and initiatives, and helps transform testing into an agile approach while leading the delivery and quality assurance roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain the CI/CD platform so application teams can develop, test, deploy and release software efficiently.
• Support development teams onboarding to the platform and push the DevOps transition forward by optimising processes.
• Manage the lifecycle of CI/CD tools running on Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes or on-premise virtual machines, ensuring security, availability and maintainability.
• Work with stakeholders and projects to help them achieve the best possible quality on their deliverables.
• Act in line with ethical and regulatory standards, including honesty, integrity, fair dealing, conflict of interest management, competence, risk management and compliance with laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Proven track record in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Hands-on experience as a CI/CD and cloud engineer; experience automating CI/CD platform lifecycles is a plus.
• Full-stack development experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, planning and teamwork skills, with a pragmatic, can-do attitude suited to an agile team.
