Senior Project Manager – Delivery

About the role

Blockstream is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Delivery to lead client‑facing delivery of complex enterprise and institutional Bitcoin solutions. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle, from solution shaping through operational readiness and steady‑state outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing delivery team for financial services solutions.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle for complex client engagements, including planning, execution, go‑live and transition to operations.
• Partner with clients and commercial teams during pre‑sales to define scope, success criteria and operational expectations.
• Translate solution requirements into detailed delivery plans with clear scope, timelines, costs, dependencies and risks.
• Manage multi‑workstream programs, establishing governance, reporting and execution rhythms.
• Act as senior escalation point, ensuring quality, client satisfaction and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate resources, vendors, dependencies, milestones, risk and change control across engineering, product and integration teams.
• Oversee operational readiness, testing, go‑live planning and handover to long‑term operations.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of enterprise delivery, program or project management experience in banking, fintech or technology infrastructure.
• Proven leadership of high‑performing, cross‑functional teams and stakeholder management.
• Successful delivery of large‑scale, multi‑system solutions in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of delivery governance, risk control and operational readiness.
• Fluent in Swiss German, German and English; French highly preferred; Italian a plus.

• Agile, hybrid and waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe.
