Senior Relationship Manager – External Asset Managers

About the role

As a Senior Relationship Manager for External Asset Managers, you will act as the trusted partner for professional wealth management firms and independent asset managers, supporting them across investment, banking, operational and regulatory matters while driving business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing external asset managers and professional intermediaries.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the wealth management sector.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and day‑to‑day relationship management.
• Support clients with investment solutions, market insights and banking services.
• Coordinate closely with internal specialists across investments, credit, operations, compliance and wealth planning.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, FATCA and cross‑border regulations.
• Prepare and participate in client meetings, presentations and networking events.
• Monitor client activities, credit facilities and investment maturities.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management or external asset manager coverage.
• Proven track record managing relationships with external asset managers, intermediaries, family offices or high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio construction and financial markets.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Valid CH work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship.
