Senior SAP Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join a leading SAP software company. You will work on innovative SAP solutions for an international customer base, using the latest SAP technologies in a hybrid setting near Zurich.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise SAP solutions using modern ABAP.
• Build complex applications with ABAP Objects and clean development principles.
• Implement robust software architectures and technical concepts.
• Develop and integrate SAP applications within SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environments.
• Build and improve SAP Fiori applications and user interfaces.
• Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for solution development.
• Collaborate with product management, consultants, and customers to deliver innovative solutions.
• Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and product enhancements for customers.
• Contribute to software quality, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects and object‑oriented development.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Background in developing or extending SAP Fiori applications.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and SAP development best practices.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Independent, proactive, and quality‑focused work approach.
• Fluent German (C1+) and good English communication skills.
