Senior Social Media Manager

About the role

Universal Genève is relaunching its iconic Swiss watchmaking Maison and seeks a Senior Social Media Manager to shape its digital presence. You will own the social media strategy, create compelling storytelling, and engage a global community of clients and collectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Maison’s social media strategy across all relevant platforms, creating editorial calendars and social‑first storytelling for campaigns, products, heritage and brand moments.
• Lead community management, ensuring consistent engagement, monitoring conversations, sentiment and audience behaviour, and establishing clear escalation processes.
• Own reporting, KPIs and performance analysis, turning insights into actionable recommendations and coordinating agencies, creators and external partners.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, emerging formats and technologies, continuously testing and evolving the social approach.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in social media, digital communications or related fields, preferably within luxury or premium consumer brands.
• Proven ability to develop and execute multi‑platform social strategies and strong project‑management and stakeholder‑coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media analytics and listening tools such as Brandwatch, Hootsuite, Sprinklr or equivalents.
• Strong editorial, storytelling and content creation capabilities.
