Senior Software Engineer – Backend & Data Platforms

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high‑performing team that builds modern, data‑driven microservice platforms in a complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on backend development, scalable data systems, and continuous improvement of distributed applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices for a core platform.
• Implement and optimise scalable backend and data‑driven services using Python, C#.NET, T‑SQL and SQL Server.
• Ensure system performance, reliability and scalability across the architecture.
• Enhance the Plotly Dash application to improve analytics and data visualisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• 12+ years of professional experience at a senior expert level.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deliver precise solutions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in German and English.
