Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Exaforce is building an Agentic SOC Platform that leverages multi‑model AI to boost the productivity of security and operations teams. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in our Zürich office to design and operate data analytics pipelines that turn massive data streams into actionable security insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines for large‑scale datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to extract patterns and insights.
• Implement and optimise algorithms for statistical analysis, anomaly detection and machine‑learning model integration.
• Work closely with the cloud operations team to ensure security, performance and reliability of the cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD, containerisation and orchestration workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and cloud operations.
• Proven experience building data processing pipelines and performing data analytics.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and proactive risk mitigation.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
